What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, personal cheques, money orders and PayPal (payment to our account Pia@RandallHouseRareBooks.com).
If you prefer to pay by check (drawn from a United States bank and in U.S. dollars) just let us know in the comments box during the checkout process. Orders will be shipped upon receipt of payment.
We also accept wire transfers for larger purchases. Customers known to us (i.e. you have ordered before) may be invoiced, as will libraries upon request. Payment schedules may also be arranged on request.
For purchases within California, sales tax is added to transactions. All items remain the property of Randall House Rare Books until paid in full.
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order, just give us a call or send us an email. We handle all the transactions that come directly to us manually, so at no time do orders placed through our website automatically charge your credit card. However, if you want to cancel an order for one of our books that you have bought through another listing service, such as ABEbooks or ABAA.org, and you have paid them directly, you may have to make arrangements through that service in order to be properly reimbursed.
Can I return an item I purchased?
Our goal is for you to be pleased with the book or other item you purchase from us, and to be proud to add it to your collection. We offer an unconditional guarantee of every item's authenticity and completeness as described. We collate our books and note any defects in our published descriptions. You may return your purchase for a full refund if you are not pleased for any reason, as long as it is in the same condition as when purchased and you notify us within 10 days.
